Along The Ridge- Part Two

Much time had passed since my initial interviews and work of those under my employ. Well, it was much time in great concentration and study. Hours, I worked my notes, the great historical texts of my culture. There was much to mine and I worked the seams.All is not now, nor has it ever been. Nor is all tomorrow, nor the next day. I plied my trade, worked the soils of my great and blessed nation. Turned to the blue sky and prayed for rain. Then, I kicked the dry red clay, and cursed the night.
