Memories

Sarah Davies was born on March 13th 1900 in Onllwyn a small mining village in South Wales. In her seventies she decided to write down her memories so that they could be shared by her family and future generations to come. In this book she tells us part of her life from a young child growing up in South Wales, to joining the land army, meeting her husband and raising a family. She also writes about her later life, after she was widowed and how she worked in a mining canteen and her involvement in the chapel.
