This book is a forward-looking exploration of Kawthoolei. While it briefly touches on the history of the Karen people, its primary focus is not historical. Instead, it highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the nation, discussing how Kawthoolei can stand as an equal member in the international community. This book marks the first step toward that aspiration. It is written in the native language of the Karen people, using the widely-used Sqaw Karen script.
