Sherry Mayer is in eighth grade and in love with her best friend, Kyle. Kyle is in love with a girl named Jenna ("Betty Boobs" to Sherry). Not only that, but Sherry has discovered a plot by the teachers to cancel the dance at which she plans to profess her love to Kyle. Can she save the dance, defeat Jenna, and tell Kyle she loves him? And what is it with dance DJ's and Eighties music anyway?
