A Rare Gem: Wafers

The main character in the book, Salitu, was eventually faced with a maze-like circumstance he had not been prepared to deal with. He must have thought that his life was too well planned to fall out of place, and that he had done enough technical calculations to fit in the pros and cons of correct interaction with his peers: Salitu used his lonesomeness as a shield - to protect himself against disconcerting interruptions to his preferred social ways - which found support in the warmth of a caring lenient mother, who doted on him. Then this new kid in school, Raphael, comes around to over step this boundary, how would Salitu deal with his guts.
