Pride, Politics & Plague

This collection of columns from The New York Blade includes Steve Bolerjack's commentary on life in New York City during the years just before and after 2000. Besides the title's topics, he observes the comic, tragic, ridiculous, poignant and urgent matters and events that made the period so singular. And since most of the now-defunct Blade's archive has been lost, this book preserves at least a small part of what was once one of the major LGBT newspapers in the country.
