1 Consciousness Stirs

SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE. And if I wanted to be TOTALLY PC, I would say ‘experience-ing’; because the idea that ‘consciousness’ is SOMETHING became more of a hindrance than a blessing EONS ago (in Expeditionary Time, that is. Expeditionary Eons are a bit SHORTER than the other kind … ). Subjective experience, that we KNOW from the INSIDE (and vastly over-interpret from ALL sides). A ‘phenomenon of interest’, sure. But really JUST SOMETHING THE BRAIN DOES. Down there in the hippocampi. And even if sea-horses DID have feet … shouldn’t they be HOOVES? Consciousness, subjectivity, is not a GIRT BIG THING, the way my species would LIKE it to be. It’s a little trick. Spectacular … but LITTLE. As opposed to terrible … but GREAT. That was something else, in another time and place …. Which reminds me of a dilemma, totally irrelevant and I won’t be here to witness the outcome, if any. On my tombstone … “Elvis has left the building”? … or “Grind me up, Scotty … “? As if it could possibly matter ….
