For Theophilus

Luke dedicates His Gospel to a person named "Theophilus" - which is a Greek name that means "one who loves God." "For Theophilus" is a collection of pastor Tom Eckstein's meditations on the Gospel of Luke for “one who loves God.” As you read this book you will be blessed by the good news that Luke wanted to share with every person who could be named Theophilus . In addition, those of us who could be named Theophilus also get to share this good news of Luke’s Gospel with those who do not believe in Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Savior, in the hope that they, too, can one day be named Theophilus !
