A further adventure into the lives of the Trawlaine family. Cooper Trawlaine, returning home from the Civil War finds the family ranch in ruins. Gathering a few good hands he builds a herd to stock his land in Wyoming Territory. Having to fight off rustlers, hired guns, big ranchers and a renegade ex-Cavalry officer bent on revenge, Cooper has to continue to fight.
