Shanghai Sights

Shanghai, shorted for “Hu” and “Shen”, is situated in the southeast of Yangtze River Delta and to the east is the East China Sea. As the gateway to the Yangtze River basin, it covers an area of 6341 square kilometres with a total population of 14.57 million. Shanghai consists of 16 districts, namely as Huangpu, Luwan, Xuhui, Changning, Jing'an, Putuo, Zhabei, Hongkou, Yangpu, Minhang, Baoshan, Jiading, Jinshan, Qingpu, Songjiang and Pudong New Area, and 3 suburban counties as Fengxian, Nanhui and Chongming.
