The 90 Day Syndrome
How America Outlasts Outrage,Forgets Blacks Suffering and Protects Systems of Injustice
Normalerweise in 3-5 Werktagen gedruckt
Public attention can rise overnight and disappear before institutions complete their duties. This book introduces an original social-accountability framework, first conceptualized in 2015, that explains how delay, procedural complexity, selective disclosure, narrative redirection, and public fatigue can weaken demands for justice within approximately ninety days of a major injustice. Through documented histories of racial terror, destroyed Black communities, military injustice, police violence, suspicious deaths, body-camera failures, public-record resistance, and privatized surveillance, the work examines how institutions control time, evidence, information, and memory. It then presents the Day-91 Accountability Model—a practical architecture for preserving evidence, tracking promises and deadlines, protecting family authority, measuring reform, and keeping unresolved obligations open until independent verification establishes completion. Written for readers concerned with civil rights, Black history, policing, government transparency, surveillance, law, public policy, media, and social movements, this book argues that remembrance becomes meaningful only when it carries enforceable duty.
