Double Agent Double Life

I went over the plan one more time in my head: I steal Mom's phone from its spot on the counter. After dismissal, call Dad and tell him to pick me up from home. Dad shows up at the front door, and Mom answers. They make up with each other and Dad can come home and we'll all live happily ever after and all is well, right? That's the way it's supposed to end.
