He learned how to discharge electricity through his gloves and became a superhero....then he enlisted and became a soldier.....then for a while he was an international spy....and from time-to-time he donned the costume and again became a superhero. The Spark Man kept his identity secret even form the readers for a while, but then revealed it; he altered his costume more than one; his stories changed in writing style, illustration style. This is a selection of stories from the SPARKLER COMICS series. The pages are weathered and aged; it is not a thing of comic beauty, but we hope you will appreciate the authenticity of these rare and expensive books. The writer was Fred Methot throughout the series. Reg Greenwood was the illustrator through the first 25 issues, and then the reins were taken by Paul Berdanier (beginning on Page 175), except for a few scattered stories possibly done by Greenwood.
