Asdvgi Ama
The meaning of the name Asdvgi Ama is Deep Water in the Cherokee language. Upon being given this name Asdvgi Ama had an open vision which revealed a gentle waterfall the kind that is soothing and cleansing to the body and soul. The pool of water that formed at the base of the waterfall flowed out into a deep river and Asdvgi Ama was told by the Spirit to stay in the River of God and to teach others about his River of Life. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Arts in Special Education and has worked in critical care, open heart, medical/surgical units and pediatrics. In May 2001, she was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disorder and subsequently survived a myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, 6 strokes and 4 ruptured brain aneurysms. Through much prayer, life-styles changes, dealing with an abusive past, and qi gong therapy, she is completely healed with no residual damage. Praise God! Today she seeks to serve and minister to those in need. Psalm118:17-18
