Anna Jean Nelson is an artist and author in Omak, WA. She spends her days talking about art, taking pictures of trees, sketching, writing, talking about music, drinking tea, and involving herself in all the shenanigans she can! Her first venture into children's books is 'Caspian the Brave', but she doesn't see that as her stopping point for children's picture books. In December 2016 She released her first collection of poems, Inanimate LOVE. It was an intimate look at relationships between humans told from the perspective of everyday objects. They tell their stories as if they were the ones going through it, and allow the reader to see themselves in new ways without giving them an identity to fuss over.
