Mike has worked as a writer in advertising, television and the press media all of his life. It was while working at Ogilvy in London that his first book was published. His fellow copywriter and friend, Salman Rushdie, was at that time working on Midnight's Children, which Mike was lucky enough to read in manuscript form.
