Rob Brown
Rob Brown has failed to complete the Three Peaks Challenge on two separate occasions. He blames the ‘Whisky Galore’ shop in Fort William. He once spent a week in a 35ft yacht circumnavigating the Isle of Skye with seven other blokes. The smell alone was appalling. He has hitchhiked from Bristol to Paris and Amsterdam. The experience confirmed that he cannot, in fact, speak any foreign languages. He once crashed a Lambretta through the front door of a small cafe. Both the owner of the cafe and the owner of the Lambretta failed to see the funny side. He has swum with dolphins but was not that impressed. Then again, neither were they. He once flew a light aircraft over Gloucester. The residents of Gloucester were blissfully unaware of the potential health and safety nightmare being played out above their heads. He has rowed the length of the Thames from Oxford to Hampton Court in a skiff called ‘Tyho’. Tyho is the Native American word for ‘cuts through the water like a concrete shed’.
