Suzan Schnitzius has been a lifelong traveler. Her interest in different places, people, cultures, and religions has lead her to seek out experiences that would increase her knowledge and understanding of others. Her life was so enriched by her travels that she started the website “Feisty Old Woman” found at suzanschnitzius.org to encourage, teach and promote ANYONE to get out and explore the world. Suzan has been to 49 states in the USA and traveled across Europe, and parts of Asia and Africa. Living within a small budget and interacting with diverse and engaging people taught Suzan valuable lessons about safe solo travel, cultural diversity, and the mechanics of travel. Her writing stems from the desire to share her travel experience with others. Suzan is the author of a historical romance novel “The Descending Dove” and the humorous travel memoir “Rolling Toward Home."
