Sally-Ann has been a beauty contest fan since she first set eyes on the winner of Miss UK 1974, and from then on she collected every newspaper article, video, book and souvenir her pocket money would allow. Come the late '80s, she competed herself, before realising her dream to write a book about the heroines who have played such a huge part of her life. Soon to carry out her first national beauty pageant judging appointment, Misdemeanours is her first factual book.
