Aźuritë Amorë
Aźuritë Amorë is a writer of “Lovers Rock” poetry and short fiction, whose work explores the complexities of love, heartbreak, identity and spiritual connection. A grandchild of the Windrush Generation, Amorë writes from a deep-rooted commitment to Black Love and cultural consciousness. His work amplifies marginalised Black realities, challenges one-dimensional cultural narratives and creates new spaces for understanding the nuanced richness of the Caribbean diasporic experience. At the heart of his work is a desire to restore depth, intentionality and unflinching vulnerability to human connection. With characteristic charm, urgency, and originality, Amorë dubs this mission a “real-love-lution”—a movement towards deeper love, higher consciousness and more meaningful intimacy. Bold in language and in purpose, Amorë uses literature not merely to tell stories, but to conscientize a generation.
