The authors life took an unexpected turn at 46 when a devastating stroke in 2011 reshaped his world. Navigating the physical and emotional aftermath of stroke, largely on his own, he intimately understands the daily unspoken struggles that both survivors and caregivers face. He experienced firsthand the immense burden placed on unprepared family members, many of whom navigate the demanding 24/7 caregiving role without guidance or assistance. The complexities only deepened when narcissism entered the mix, turning what was already a challenging situation into an emotional battleground. With little support and an uncertain future, he found healing through journaling. Determined to share his hard-earned wisdom, he wrote a book. His debut book—The Stroke Survivor Handbook—was first published in 2016. A simple act that blossomed into a new passion as an author, and now he dedicates his writing to offering practical advice, emotional support, and hope to stroke and TBI survivors, caregivers, and those dealing with narcissism. His books have become a lifeline for anyone facing these trials, providing readers with the tools to navigate their toughest moments and find strength in the face of adversity. In addition to his self-help books—written through the eyes of a survivor—he has also created a series of activity books which were inspired by the techniques that aided him in his recovery.
