Rome Colllier is a retired journalist and a former Middle East correspondent with four decades of experience in the news business. His novel The Second Coming came about from his experiences covering events in the Middle East, and the characters are composites of people he met throughout the years. Rome now lives in suburban Atlanta with his wife, his dog Charlie, one cat and a pond full of koi.
