what should i say? i have been writing since i was ten or twelve. poetry, short stories, letters, post cards, essays, a play, a novel or two. i was published long ago in magazines, newspapers not many but some. i fell out of time for some time as i witnessed life in Manhattan over twenty years. for ten of them, maybe fifth teen i continued to write. somewhere in there i lost the continuity of my writings. i lost most of my connections to the past to the present. i forgot my lessons, my manners, my way as well as more than i care to dwell on. these books are my formal presentation of my work. to date they document most. i still have several, at least two if not three to publish from the past if not the same from my new work.
