Dixie Douglas Powers lives in coastal SC with her son Chris. She and her late husband have another married son and two grandchildren. Her family is the stronghold of her life. The poems she writes come from her heart and many are from her life's experiences. It is her prayer that these poems will meet a need or built hope in someone.
