Growing up, I found reading to be a chore. Tolkien changed that for me when I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in High School, sparking a great interest in books and the craft of writing. Earning degrees in English, Art, and Literature at Delta College and Central Michigan University, I dreamed of being a great American novelist but landed in the field of Information Technology and Technical Writing, where I continue to labor to this day. Writing for pleasure fell to the wayside until 2007 when I felt a stirring to write. I have since written a couple of novels and several non-fiction books on religious topics. My passions include nature, camping, good movies, good food, painting, travel, photography, ministry, and my spiritual walk with God. For me, writing is an absolute joy and part of my journey. Every author hopes to gain a readership, but if only a handful of people are blessed by something I have written, the work I have put into it will have been worthwhile. Thank you to all who have purchased my books. They are self-published, which means their success relies entirely upon word of mouth. Please spread the word and take the time to write a review. Hearing from fans is an encouragement to him.
