Dr. Ahmed Ahmed is a specialist pediatrician, fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the American Academy of Pediatrics, with the Israeli board of Pediatrics as well. He finished his medical school from the University of Jordan (Jordan), then did his internship in East Jerusalem (Palestine), and later on had his training as a pediatrician at Soroka medical center/Unversity of Ben-Gurion (Israel). Dr. Ahmed relocated to Canada in 2007 and served as the head of medical services, lead of pediatrics and chief of standards committee in the Burntwood regional health authority, manitoba until he relocated to Ottawa. Dr. Ahmed also serves as a member of the RAC-3 (Regional Advisory Committee for the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, representing Ontario and Nunavut). During his career in 4 different countries, Dr. Ahmed was exposed to huge diversity of clinical experience, research, and academic teaching of medical students, family physicians and pediatric residents.
