Erin Suurkoivu was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, and has lived in Ottawa, Vancouver, Sooke, and Halifax. She has a deep appreciation for nature and a love of the wild. Her poems have appeared in Leaf Press, Wicked Alice, The Soap Box Press, and MockingHeart Review. Erin feels that poetry is her one true voice. She currently lives on Prince Edward Island with her husband and their two children.
