Carol A. Baumheckel was born in Connersville, Indiana and raised in Naperville, Illinois. She is a licensed nurse in the state of Indiana. She has worked in the medical field for many decades. Her current interests include complementary medicine and educating others about supplements and herbs. She has a heart for animals and desires to raise awareness and support for feral cat colonies and animal rescue shelters. She enjoys writing and has many more stories to share in future books and publications. She finds writing a wonderful way to work through problems and to bring humor and inspiration to her readers. Her faith, family and friends remain her bedrock. She resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
