I, Sue Trace Lawrence, am a psychology professor and early childhood educator. I love psychology and kids, obviously, and use ideas from my career in my writings. Another major passion in my life is rock music, including everything from the Beatles (John Lennon is the MAN!) to Kiss to Guns-n-Roses to Motley Crue to Alice in Chains. I am fascinated by musicians and artists and have been more-than-heavily influenced by them in my work, in my writings, and in my life. The other loves of my life are my kids, who give me purpose and direction. I am different because of them! Rob Trace is my brother, whom I lost unexpectedly and suddenly in 1991. Rob was a writer and editor for the international edition of a journal written for orthopedists But in his spare time he was always a musician, playing awesome bass guitar for various groups, sometimes professionally. He was also a terrific guy and a wonderful brother. The other love of his life was his son. He is sorely missed by everyone.
