Jostelyn James is a young adult author from Northern California. She writes poetry and published her first book titled Rain or Shine. The book is a memoir of her life experiences between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. Words have always been a major passion for her and she has written many poems, songs and partial books throughout her childhood. She draws inspiration from the human experience and her writing encompasses themes of teenage friendships, loss and loneliness. She is currently attending the University of California at Davis and is majoring in Communications there. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading, analyzing movies and spending time with her family.
