I was in the beauty industry for years before turning my life towards writing. Inspired by my 2 beautiful daughters, I wrote 3 beginner-readers and 1 chapter book for children, which I published through Lulu In 2006. I also have 3 novels well underway, as well as 11 chapter books for middle-grade children that are part of the Cat Tales Collection. To house my published material, I started a publishing house in 2005, named after my girls (The SydneyKate Press). I also wrote for an online California magazine for 2 years (The Smart Girlz Guide) and have had several articles published in various issues of Cleveland State University's campus magazine, The Vindicator.
