Latwana Ellis-Bynum BSN,RN is an accomplished registered nurse, nursing educator, academic leader, and NCLEX success strategist with 15 years of experience in healthcare and nursing education. Her clinical background includes mental health, medical -surgical, and nursing-program leadership. As a former Department Chair of a practical nursing program, she provided leadership for more than 300 nursing students across clinical sites. Under her leadership, the program achieved an 83% first-time NCLEX-PN pass rate, maintained strong retention, strengthened clinical partnerships, and earned positive accreditation outcomes. She has been featured in a national publication for strategies to improve NCLEX outcomes and is committed to helping practical nursing students develop knowledge, confidence, clinical judgment, and safe decision-making. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Maria College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. She is a wife and mother of six girls.
