For nearly 15 years, Dr. Lauri Swann has served in various pastoral capacities including, senior, associate, youth, and young adult. As a person who is in love with God and the people of God, Lauri strives to let all know, particularly women--from campus groups to senior--that they not only belong to God but are worthy and created for purpose. Lauri received her M.A. from The George Washington University. She also received her M. Div. and D.Min. from Wesley Theological Seminary. She is the creator and C.E.O. of Defined by God, a ministry dedicated to calling forth the divine purpose and position of God's people distinctly and creatively through the Word of God. She is a Christian speaker, teacher, and blogger. She is the proud wife to Kevin and the mother of three awesome gifts--Matthew, Joshua, and Hannah.
