Lydia grew up in a dysfunctional family where make believe quickly became her coping skills. Using her imagination she became an avid story teller. Her skills were forbidden by a less than kind spouse until she could no longer deal with the reality of his hate. Once on her own again she quickly began telling stories again. When she learned she would need brain surgery she sat down to write one last story for her children in case she did not survive. Surprised by her ability to write a YA fantasy fiction novel, she quickly added more to her collection. Morning Diamond became the first to be published.
