Ned Johnson lives a blessed life in Tarpon Springs, Florida, having spent the first 42 years of his life in historic Bardstown, Kentucky. The broadcast journalist turned college professor enjoys castnetting, fishing, and following his favorite sports teams. Life highlights include state athletic championships as a player and as a coach, hall of fame inductions, and above all, the best family in the history of mankind. Encouraged to be a voracious reader by education-dedicated parents, his writing skills were honed by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, high school instructors E.L. Raney and Jim Curry, and the faculty at Western Kentucky University, particularly Dr. Karen Pelz and Dr. Larry Winn.
