Tanika Johnson
Tanika Johnson is a writer plain and simple. Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia she developed her love for words at an early age much to her mother's chagrin always telling tales and indulging the room at large with her perspective on what was going on according to her mind. She often spent many sleepless summer nights telling tales and stories over several summer evenings to her siblings. She penned "Once Again" over a period of ten years, inspired to compile the poems once sought after by her friends in college. It was at Marymount where she began "Baggage" for as an assignment for class. One of her classmates requested she finish because she had to know what happened to the character Veronique. Shortly after completing it she began on "Carry On" because she wanted to see for herself where the four women she had created ended up, especially the character of Sunny. She hopes more than anything her readers find the four women as amazing and refreshing as she does.
