pfgpowell is just another of several thousands around the world who have written stories, plays and novels but remain unpublished, for whatever reason. There is an assumption that a published author must be 'good' - or why else would he or she have been published? - and that those whose work is not, or has not yet been, published - cannot be ‘good' - for if they were, surely a publisher would already have snapped them up? But it doesn't actually work that way. I have come across much published fiction which is quite simply bad - and often by 'name' authors. And it is possible, even probable, that here on the Lulu site there are many writers whose work deserves to be published quite simply because it is entertaining and would sell.. I shall make no grand claim for my novel. Others - you - should decide whether or not it is 'good'. But I shall say two things: never judge a book by its cover, and at least all the commas are in the right place. So buy a copy and decide for yourself...
