Rhys Hughes is a Welsh writer of fantasy, speculative fiction and magic realism who often uses comedy and absurdism to examine philosophical issues. Over the past twenty years he has written many short stories and novels. Gloomy Seahorse Press was established by him with the intention of publishing a small and choice selection of books filled with quirky, whimsical, ironical and imaginative prose fiction and poetry. Many of these books will feature original illustrations by talented artists.
