Al and Autumn Ray were an Air Force family for more than 27 years and are the cofounders of MarriageTeam, a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to restoring and strengthening marriages. Since 2006, they have trained hundreds of couples as marriage coaches who have served thousands of couples nationally and internationally. Couples seeking help are equipped with practical, biblicall;y-based tools to move from conflict and disconnection to unity, understanding, and hope. Their passion is simple: help couples learn how to love each other well—especially when it’s hard. They have seen firsthand that most marriages don’t fail from lack of love, but from lack of skills, hurt feelings, and misunderstandings. That’s why they developed a clear, step-by-step approach that helps couples communicate, forgive one another, resolve conflict, and grow together spiritually and relationally. They are the authors of the 8-book Rick and Jane Learn to Be Married series, where everyday situations become powerful lessons in communiction, forgiveness, humility, listening, grace and teamwork. Their writing brings biblical principles into real-life conversations couples face every day. They have also authored small group Guide and Workbooks to accompany the book series. They live in beautiful southwest Washington, not far from Portland and are blessed to have their two adult children and two grandchildren live nearby.
