ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rick Morris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who practices in Clearwater, Florida. He is the one who parents and teenagers turn to for help when they are coping with sexually inappropriate behavior. Rick specializes in assessing and counseling youth who have demonstrated inappropriate sexual behavior. He is also the owner of Family and Adolescent Counseling Services. In addition to possessing specialized qualifications in child and adolescent therapy, he is a Fellow of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA). He is the former president of the Florida Chapter of ATSA. He holds the title of Diplomate and Clinical Mental Counseling Specialist in Child and Adolescent Counseling from the American Mental Health Counselors Association. To put it another way, he is dedicated to helping others recover from traumatic experiences. Rick has been married for more than 38 years, and the couple has three children who are now adults, as well as eight grandchildren. Rick and his wife also served as foster parents in Indiana for ten years, assisting youth and families who experienced trauma. Additionally, he gives training and assistance to both organizations and people who are struggling with difficulties relating to sexually inappropriate behaviors.
