About me
Roman Franckowiak is a writer, builder, and student from Berks County, Pennsylvania. He works across a wider range than most people his age — he founded Webivelo, a student-run web development and digital marketing studio, and runs HalveCore Studios, a venture built around fitness ebooks and courses. He’s an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in Scouts BSA, trains in martial arts, and has published independent research in theoretical physics. His long-term plan is a career in federal law enforcement. The through-line in all of it is systems: how they hold together, what they’re actually built on, and what happens when they stop working. That’s what he writes about. His debut novel, Inorganic Patterns, is a realistic post-apocalyptic story built on biology and physics rather than firepower. It follows a small-town water treatment operator who watches an infection evolve across a single year — from the week it burns itself out in the streets, to the winter it learns to stand outside a locked door and ask to be let in. More books are coming.
