Ronnie Abimael Gonzalez (also known as Ron Gunz) is a writer and poet from the streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. He began his journey as a writer after seeing the film A Knight's Tale, as he wanted to find a way to profess potential love interest in a girl. As time went on, he used poetry and other means of writing as the instrument to express, thoughts, emotions and experiences, whether it be figurative or in obvious forms. During the fall of 2009, he finally embarked on the journey of self-publishing his first book. By January of 2010, he finally put Taking Over Me together as a collection of writings dating as far back as high school up to the conclusion of the book's finish. Ronnie Abimael Gonzalez is determined to share his experience through literary means with the world as he writes, crafts and creates poetry and stories to invoke and profess truths and lies that he has learned throughout life as it comes.
