Salvatore Piredda
Salvatore Piredda is an Italian architect and the author of Unfolding the Wardrobe: A Visual Dictionary of Fashion in Context. As a lifelong learner, his interest in language acquisition grew from his own experience of learning English and from a broader curiosity about how people learn through meaningful experiences, visual connections, and real-world contexts. Driven by this exploration, he developed a different approach to language learning based on contextual vocabulary development, visual learning, and accessible learning design. Rather than treating language as isolated information to be memorised, his work explores how meaningful environments can support more natural and engaging learning experiences. Unfolding the Wardrobe is the first practical implementation of an emerging Immersion Reconstruction framework, demonstrating how immersive language-learning environments can be intentionally designed without requiring the traditional study-abroad experience.
