I’m a dad who believes some of the most important conversations don’t happen at a desk — they happen on the sidelines, in the car after practice, or while watching a game together. Sport has a unique way of bringing families closer. It teaches discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence — but more importantly, it creates moments we don’t get back. I created Game Time because I didn’t want those moments to just pass by. I wanted a way to slow them down, to reflect, to celebrate progress, to talk about lessons learned after wins and losses, and to build something meaningful together. This journal is about more than sport. It’s about connection, growth, and creating something a child can look back on one day and remember not just the games — but the time spent together. — Sammy Fields
