Alex Langford is a California-based writer. He wrote "The Emperor's New Music" based upon his experiences as a musician in the 90's and as an entertainment writer/producer in San Francisco for several years. "It was my job," he said, "to tape interviews with Hollywood people and sports stars, then to edit the tape as if the talking heads had done the work."
