Stephen Murphy was born in West Germany in 1968 while his father was serving with the British Army. He joined the Royal Navy in 1987 aged 18. He lives in Bedfordshire, UK with his wife and two sons. Stephen's first collection of poetry - Adrift in a Mind - was published in 2011.
