Tamar McKenzie has always been a writer. At the age of 14 she wrote her first novel; but devoutly hopes that it will never see the light of day. This early interest has continued sporadically all her life, and is reflected in her choice to study English Literature at university. 'The Push of a Button That Changed My Life' is Tamar's first published novel, and is highly autobiographical in inspiration. It has been a popular read on her Facebook page. Her upcoming novel was written first, and is an exploration and a challenging of accepted conventions in Nineteenth Century literature. Tamar varies her style from project to project, as required by the scope of the task; but she always provides a good read - something to lose yourself inside while reading in a cosy chair with a wine or a hot chocolate.
