Douglas Simonson has been painting professionally for over 40 years, with an ongoing focus on the male figure. He is a painter and photographer who uses his own photographs as inspiration for his drawings and paintings. Since the early 2000s he has exhibited and sold his purely photographic work as well. In 2009 he began producing e-books based on his fine art and photography.
