My Name is James Lagoski and I am the Author of The Journey Poetry series. It all began after my friend I'd known for 25 years committed suicide. A year later after suffering through severe depression, my wife and I had an experience that changed my life. Afterwards I had no doubt of our existence beyond this level we all live at. So my mind began questioning all aspects of life and death. I then began writing poetry. After having more than 100 poems written, I decided to create a book in Bills memory that was all part of a promise that I'd made not only to Bill, but also to God. That first book is titled "The Journey Lost and Confused" and is part of what’s become 11 books so far. This project began expanding into videos created from some of this poetry in November of 2010. The conception of viewing and hearing these poems is sweeping the internet and helping keep poetry alive in this new age of electronic book libraries.
