Jeffery Dahmer was arrested in 1991 and convicted in 1992. I wrote Across the Hall in 1993 while living in Madison Wisconsin and he was murdered in 1994. Across the Hall was accepted by a publishing company that was in Madison in 1993 as well however, they decided not to publish it because it conflicted with company concerns and a new company president . My life was in turmoil landing me in the Wisconsin prison system for a probation violation and in 1994 Esquire Magazine published an insert titled "Some beer and some chips with Jeffrey Dahmer." After sitting on the shelf and myself becoming the man I am today, it was my goal to tell my story and hopefully my readers will find what I have written interesting.
